Virtual Set Designing

Virtual Set Designing 

Step - 1

Create New Document using Adobe Photoshop CS5. 


Now you will get the new document with guide lines. Those guidelines will help you to do the designing work within the focus area.


Step - 2

Choose Gradient Tool (short cut key is G) from tool bar. Set the foreground and BG color into #009cff, #005f9b.

Choose Linear Gradient from gradient type.
Apply gradient color into the document area by drag and drop.


Step - 3

Open Globe image into Photoshop.

Choose Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and create the circle selection over globe image. For create circle selection use Shift Key when draw the selection. If you need to create selection from the center of the globe press Alt + Shift key while creating selection.



If you want to adjust the selections size you can use the option called Transform Selection.

For applying transform selection choose Select Menu -> Transform Selection

Now you will get the transform controls and you can adjust the size of the selection.







After adjusting the selection size press enter key for conform the changes made by transform selection option.Copy the selected area from globe image (Ctrl + C).
Step - 4
Choose Virtual Set Design.psd and paste the copied image area (Ctrl + V). If the image is bigger then the document dimension Apply Transform Control (Ctrl + T) to scale the image size.



Use corner points with Shift Key to adjust the dimension of the globe


Set the image on Virtual Set Design.psd like the above view.



For rename the existing layer, double click over the layer name. Set the Globe opacity value into 25%





Select Ellipse tool from tool box.

Set the Pick Tool Mode into Shape from Tool Option Bar and Draw the ellipse at the bottom of the Design.

For Applying White stroke over the Ellipse Select Ellipse Layer from Layer Palette-> Right Click -> Blending Option.

Now Select Stroke option from left hand side and set the stroke size = 7, Color = white


Duplicate the Ellipse Layer and set that layer at the top of the design.
